Hi can anyone remamber the name of the largest horizontal boiler maxwell or john hemmens made ,regards Allan

Thanks that helps a little i think the largest horisontal bpoiler they made was the BRADFOD and it had a 1" dia flue although still unsure ,but thanke rhavrane.

Allan, the largest boilers I can see in the catalogue is for the Caton V4, Hemmens supplied a 3 1/4 inch diameter boiler and for its successor the Max V4 you could have either a 76mm Kingdom style boiler (5kg) or an 80mm dia horizontal boiler (4kg), the boiler was tested to 160psi, the York was supplied with a 3 inch diameter boiler, hope this helps?

THANKS DBS88 ,YES I AM SURE IT WAS CALLED A BRADFORD BOILER MY FREIND WHO IS A COLECTOR AND IS MAKING A DISPLAY OF THE BOILER AND ENGINE WANTS TO MAKE A ENGRAVED PLATE WITH THE NAME OF THE BOILER ON ,REGARDS ALLAN
