The Hemmens Caton engine and boiler when compared with the later Hemmens Max 2 engine and boiler uses different thread sizes. The threads on the Caton are finer than on the Max 2, so as a result, for example its not possible to use a Caton Safety valve on the Max 2. The threads on the later Max 2 are ME Threads, 1/4 40 etc.
Do you have a Caton? If so please would you let me know the thread sizes used, in particular the safety valve, thank you in advance for your help it is appreciated.
