Title: Futaba 6EXAP Radio
Post by: barryfoote on December 07, 2007, 06:04:09 pm: Sorry chaps but I am totally ignorant about modern radio control. I have the chance to buy a Futaba 6EXAP radio system at a good price. It comes complete with servos and reciever but the reciever is a 35 mhz, not 40 as I require.

Is it simply a case of buying a new reciever to the correct frequency or will this Tx not function with 40 mhz. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I am still using a Bobs Board in an old caldercraft Talacre and at nearly 20 years old it still works well.

Post by: omra85 on December 08, 2007, 08:29:01 pm: Piece of circuit board with a 'to and fro' resistance circuit etched on. They were stuck to the top of a servo and the copper tipped contacts attached to the servo spindle.
When you moved the servo, it varied the resistance delivered to the motor in either forward or reverse.
Very simple. very good. Precurser to the ESC's.
