A hard chine is one where the side and bottom of a boats' hull meet at an angle (corner) rather than being rounded (round bilge).

You could get a hard shine on a hard chine by using Polyurethane varnish? :o {-)

We're going through some uncertainties in the UK at present, what with economic problems looming, our personal data being lost on a daily basis, none of the home countries qualifying for next years European Championships, etc.
Still, it is Christmas, so ..... chin(e) up!
