Hello all, we'll be waiting in to see if we get a first foot in our new house and no I don't mean someone bringing a 12" rule. If we are fortunate to get to bed at a reasonable time the intention is to walk up to Sumburgh Head with the dog in the morning. Will definitely have to watch the Hogmanay show on BBC to see how bad it is this year! Apart from Ally Bain & Phil Cunningham who are worth watching anytime.
Q
Here tae ye, fa's like us?

Hi all,
I've just got a text (2-30pm) to remind me I'm working tonight. Actually it's the first I've heard about it!
So I'll get home about 2-30 am but at least I'll be sober.
So I'll probably spend tomorrow afternoon working on one of four new Springers and variants.
Hope you all enjoy a great new years eve

Yes, last day of the holidays, back to the salt mines on Jan 2. :'( Mind you, as I'm self employed I start to earn some money to make up for what I've spent over the past week and a half. O0
So tomorrow is a 'get-rid-of-hangover,lie-in-as-long-as-possible,do-nothing-day'.

Martin the first post on Mayhem for the new year will be difficult to judge. We are all international so our Aussie mates will have a distinct advantage.
Yours Colin H.

What have I done on New Years Day ? Why, I went for a sail of course, clear head, only a couple of drams at the bells. Healthy body..healthy mind as my old Dad said, "take your pick". ??? Not enough snow for skiing anyway :'(

Hello all, well the weather wasn't quite right for encouraging the rst of the family that a walk to Sumburgh Head was a good idea. In the end I toook the young dog out for a walk of a mile and a half in each direction and at the end of it I only got about 150 yards from my house when I realised there was a field full of cows on the way I had intended to go ::) . Anyway then it was in to the neighbours for what was supposed to be Reestit Mutton Soup which was not ready :( then back home for a pick 'n mix Indian / Chinese lunch.
Cheers for now

Time now to plan what were going to do this year. O0
No new year resolutions here, seem to get broken too easy. :(
Off to work tomorrow like most of us. Can start making some money again, as I work for myself and things got to be paid. ;)
Wish you all and your family's health, wealth and happiness in 2008.
A special thanks to John and Peter for their kind help O0 O0
