Title: PUT A FACE TO THE NAME
Post by: KIMBO on June 28, 2006, 10:39:40 am: hi all, when reading on the forum that someone suggested name badges, i dont think its a bad idea myself. somthing with the mayhem logo on ie a sticker, or plastic badge, we can write our names on, when we go to the shows , it would be nice to put a face to the name, i get emails and messages from members as all of us do, but i bet you wouldent know me if you stood next to me at a show, there is costs ect , and getting them printed, but if the price of them was affordable to all, maybe the extra moneys could be sent to a charity or along those lines.what do you think ;D

on the badge front its possible we could if there is enough demand and its Ok arrange some decals on the door at say the Ellesmere show with MMM or something and somewhere underneath to write your name on and no cost.? ?

Post by: cbr900 on June 28, 2006, 04:38:06 pm: Yes it is winter down here at the moment and for the last two weeks the weather here has been fine and sunny with a light breeze and about 16 degrees Celsius and yes we do have a rather large barby and any or all will be welcome but make sure you bring a boat or two as we have several great lakes and dams to sail on within ten kilometres from my home, I have about 25 models so if you cannot bring a boat book early as that is all that is available...

PS Martin there a good company in Peterborough - Total Promotions (don't have there contact details as I'm away from base at the moment) I use them for the club shirts and caps.

I also hate designer labels on clothes, free poly sacks, paper bags etc which advertise the seller.

Maybe I like anonimity or else....maybe I expect everyone to recognise me!!!!!!

However, as a great admirer of Mayhem and another one who thinks Martin needs praising to the heavens, I would be prepared to put a Mayhem logo on my tool box. But it would have to be a very little one!
