Wow!!! What a smashing model, i love the detail and quality of build....Superb!

Yes, very nice. It will be a shame to cover all that brass with paint

Hi
I think I'll just through mine in the bin now
Craftmanship :-\

HEY Battleship wind up or what. or is it a bit of the Green eyed monster. >:(
I quite agree putting such good models on here how are we going to post our efforts ;D
-
I had seen the inclusion of the detail as a check that it was correct and seeking confirmation or otherwise. Not a self seeking compliment grabber.
But then my glass is always half full (unless you're buying ;D ;D)

... is there a problem? Well, I can't see one... ::) To be honest I would personally like to see many more pics of other modeller's builds on this Forum. I may not be the best modeller in the world myself, but we all have to have something to aspire to don't we?
So as Doug says, the locations of detail have been presented to us anyway for those of us who are more knowledgeable to check (as per Peter's own request and acknowledgement that he may not have got things absolutely correct - not that I can offer any wisdom, it all looks superb to me!) so I really can't see a problem at all. Surely its what the Forum was intended for - isn't it?
The last thing we need is discouragement from showing others what we are up to.... after all said and done, we have to be able to take some pride in our own achievements, 'cos we can't all build museum masterpieces...

HS93,
If you will send your model to me, I promise to correct any mistakes I find and up-date it to the current standards. I'm not asking for the model! I will return it. I'll be sure to put it in my will so that it is returned.

...I wonder if that'll work? Begging doesn't...
(Psst - You aren't trying to make yours look like their's, they are trying to make their's look like yours!)

Very sad, I couldn't agree more. To give the rest of you some hope though, HS93 has been building that model for at least five years that I know of, maybe longer, though he has built one or two others in between.

I was wrong, I just checked, and it's eight and a half years since he started it. Nice work all the same.

Ok, I rest my case....................... for now. ::)
Let's get back to the original question:-
