Title: Tamiya 1/350 Bismark

Am I right in thinking that the Tamiya 1/350th kit of the Bismark/Missouri and the others in the range come complete with motors and prop shafts in the kit? Are they any good? And are they suitable for r/c conversion?

Ive got a Tamiya bismarck fully running but it really needs calm flat water to run ie a swimming pool or similar.
Build wise its a good kit to r/c but i would spend my money on a bigger version that can handle a little weather.

Edit: answer to main question NO they dont come with motor or running gear anymore, all this has to be bought seperatly.

Well you could have answered the mans question Jay.

They used to come with motors, gearboxes, propshafts and props. Not sure if they do now but I do know I gave Jay a gear box for his. O0

OK, thank you gentlemen for that info, we don't get much calm water round these parts, that's why I like building submarines...don't matter much to a sub if it's rough or calm.
