Title: Fjords
Post by: Bunkerbarge on May 28, 2008, 10:59:50 pm
Not wanting to restart yet another thread regarding the pros and cons of modern ship design I thought I might share a couple of shots of some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.

To cruise through a fjord with sheer rock faces rising vertically out of the water either side of the ship is quite something and if you ever get the chance to have a look then grab it.

Also worthy of note are the absolute abundance of boats both interesting in thier diversity and beautiful in thier construction and condition.  If you love boats Norway is a paradise!!

Great pictures - thank you. That fire boat looks a very interesting prototype.
