following a request here is a load of screengrabs of every angle of the Ocean Pioneer from TV's Thunderbirds, I think there was 3 different scales, the main medium scale, a small one only shot once for a distance shot, and a large one for close ups.
the small scale model which still exists today

Great pics Mike, as a fellow Thunderbirds fan , I`ve always fanced building one of these, but I`ve got a Savannah three quatres built, which is a simular futuristic cargo ship.
Which epeisode did you lift the pics of her in the dry dock - I don`t remember that one .

its all the same episode Paul, after the first ship exploded, they launched a second, all fully fitted out as it was launched :)

a pic I posted on the other Thunderbirds thread of the model and launch being filmed

actually I think that behind the scenes shot was the wrong way round, as they only painted the side you the camera see's, no point wasting time if your not going to see it.
Ive flipped it round

Thanks Mike, Excellent! O0
Got to build a model of that.

no probs Martin
if you want to build it the same scale as the medium or large studio model, a lot of the detail parts on it are from the airfix (now owned by dapol) model railway kit, footbridge, signal gantry and girder bridge, aswel as ripmax boat detail bits (reade models)
