HMS Silver Swan was, in her time, a star of small screen and Traplet video, I'll have you know...she was on Southern TV news after appearing at Plumpton Model Show and then went on to star in the video 'Marine Medley' which Traplet produced.

Is it for sale indeed!! Old kettles never die, they just gently rust away....

HMS Silver Swan....RIP

[Rust in peace....]

Been there...done that. I have a video of the late Bernie Wood falling out of the bar at HMS Dolphin which I sent in...he's wrecked, falls out the door and ends up in a flower pot without spilling a drop of his beer. They said it was 'unsuitable viewing....'   :-\

Cheers,

Have seen a kettle recently, I beleive it was on a stand at Merstham run by the Crawley Club.
As for the Henry (Hooverspeed Ferries.con)  shown in a picture above I am the owner/builder. It may have made it on to the lake had I been at the show longer, but I was just travelling through with my family and only stopped a couple of hours, the other reason was that the frequency was not available during the period I was there.
By the way Martin have you got a copy of the picture you took of Grandad and Grandson receiving his first boating medal at Wicksteed.
