Post by: barryfoote on June 23, 2008, 08:21:58 am
well another Phillipino ferry has capsized. This time resulting in the deaths of getting on towards 800 people. It sailed despite warnings of a typhoon about to strike the area.

For the same reason as always....money. Somebody, somewhwre will make money out of this disaster.

When I was at sea I also experienced similar situations under 2 Masters, sailing as they were afraid of the owners. The second of these saw us in the worst North Sea crossing ever. Even I was nearly seasick.

Cheers
