Well after a hectic weekend of shows (wings and wheels and Doncaster boat show) i picked up a couple of bargains....mainly the fast patrol boat.
was at wings and wheels for 10 minutes and walking around the bring and buy when i saw what i thought was a bargain....

just few bits bought....not all by me {-)

£40 with some additional fittings and original plans.....at my guess (and my dads) she could be 20+ years old..
but got some good ideas for her now....rotating guns, lights, sound
will post pics as i go through the restoration

MGrob,
That's a good Purchase of a Perkasa. It appears to be all ply construction - what name appears (designer) on the plans. Looks like she's been nicely built - well done

Saw that on the saturday and was considering it but I didn't know what I would do with it...

Very nice Rob, coming on well.
Just a couple of points though, the Perkasa didn't have the pin stripe and the deck would have been matt green not gloss. Sorry.
-
thanks for the points, but i didnt like the shades of green in matt.....and i just didnt feel happy with the hull till it had the pinstripe.
i dunno but as long as she looks good in the water thats all I'm worried about.
Need to visit the model shop tomoz so can crack on with the deck fittings

As long as you are happy with it thats all that matters, just thought I should mention it before you got too far. O0
