Tonight ch 5 @ 7.30 p.m "Massive speed"
About powerboats stepped hulls , bluebird ect.

Hi ya

I sat & watched the programme last night about speed on channel 5 - it was very good.  Does anyone know who owned the scale model Bluebird with the jet engine in?  They were using the model to demonstrate Bluebird's hull.   It looked lovely when she was running on the water - I dont think Chris Barry (aka Mr Brittas - or Rimmer in Red Dwarfe)  {-) was controlling the model - even though it showed you Chris with the radio control in his hands.

The part I liked best was when Chris Barry was in the offshore power boat - the look of terror and white knuckles said it all.

The hydro race messed him up a bit aswell !
Hate to think what the model turbine (wren motor?) bluebird cost to build  ???
Somebody on here MUST know  ;)
