Title: Iconic Ships
Post by: Colin Bishop on August 28, 2008, 10:32:50 pm
Some ships are Icons, you don't need to ask what they are - it's obvious. This topic is for members to post their own photos of the ships we all know and love. Here's some to kick off with.

Well you've already gone for two of my favourites there Colin!

No great surprise though to see probably my favourite of all time up first folowed by another nice old girl.  They did spoil her though with those ridiculous launches on the foc's'le!!

This picture of the old Queen Elizabeth was taken by my Dad in the mid 1960s, I was with him at the time. I think it's a marvellous shot which really brings out the grace and majesty of this wonderful ship.

It doesn't get much more iconic than the Cutty Sark for me.

Pure beauty.
