Not sure that would make too good a model, the plastic doesn't look like the best quality to me, reckon it might take a bit of sealing too.

Yes if you can get it at the right price, it would make an excellent conversion!
Yes one note of caution. If it make of the same type of plastic that many of those types of toys are, you may have trouble
gluing  bits to it, ie. water tight compartments, bulkheads etc. Not hard to find but you need to ask and experiment.
These guys should be able to help! - http://www.starloc.eu/

I've got one of these to convert....

Great collection, but which is which.

The four leaving the water in a row are the rebodied coke can carrying Dicky trucks?

What is the six wheeler shown twice once on beach and once in water?

Which are from plans if any?

Could be an intresting project/s

Also whats still available?

Hi There.
I have just sold a dickie amphy in wartime guise it had been converted to 2.4 r.c.
successfully and performed well on lake and grass, much to the amusment of young and old alike.
the build quality is very good and made by a german firm,
water tight compartments are allready built in and present no probs,
you can run these on 9.6 volt nikko batteries which are the only ones that will fit in well.
good luck and enjoy.
P.S. i have no connection with either of the sales on Ebay at the moment.
Cheers   John.W.        :police:
