Im installing water cooling into my Perkasa and have a few questions only ever having installed cooling on single motor boats before
1. Is it ok to connect normal water cooling piping between the two aluminium cooling coils, and what is the best way of retaining it to them
2. Where is the best location on this model for the water outlet to be situated

Cant see a problem with that I usually put the pipe on the cooling coil and than sear around the pipe with silicon just to make sure it can't fall off.Ads for where to place the outlet all mine are on the stern of the model so it looks like a bilge pump.|One suggestion is to connect the poss and neg of the pump to the same on the motor so as you increase speed the pump will increase as well ;)

Where to put the outlet for the cooling?
Somewhere that's a lower pressure than the inlet, which can be a number of places. One option being where you can see that there really is an output, but not too high or the head pressure will be greater than the inlet pressure and no cooling. The only 'problem' with wiring the motor and cooling pump together is that you will be splitting the current flow between the two. If that's not really a problem, then why not?

I was hoping to let gravity deal with the movement of water, as the inlet needs to be right underneath between centre prop and the end of the hull.
So possibly it looks like I might have to have a side exit, as hopefully the back end will be down when under power

All of the model boats I have seen that have water cooling have the inlet directly above the propellor, and the outlet through the transom, without a pump. They rely on the water flung outwards by the prop being pushed through the pipework, and seem to work very well.

You might want to try one of these, picture enclsosed.
Very small and minimum drag, fit in line with the prop shaft. Vacume from the aft hole pulls water through the first.
Very cheap, easy to fit, 2 4mm holes, seal and screw in.
I used them on mine. I have one either side for twin motors.
