Hi, I Have acquired the above and was wondering has anybody built one of these ? , if so do you have any pictures which you could post.
Also is Caldercraft still trading or are they owned by someone else, as this has come with none of the fittings, and was hoping you could still get them as a kit else I will have to source them individually.
Thanks
Larry

Was the "James Braidwood" the london fireboat, that was a very early Caldercraft easy build boat.
If so, Jotika stopped production of it some years ago I'm afraid.

I found some pictures from a site in the US who appear to make these to high Standards for displays etc. These are a couple of their pictures, hope mine looks like this when finished !!
From looking at the pictures I should be able to get most things quite easily , possibly even at Warwick , its just the fire monitors and valves which might be a problem.

I'm glad you posted that; you've solved a mystery for me. I saw one of these made up and on display in Harrow Model shop some 15-20 years ago, and thought it looked a nice boat, but never saw it again or found any reference to it, finally decided I must have imagined it being a kit at all. Thanks!

Does anybody have a copy of the instructions for this by chance ?

Well hoping that I may still find some more info out about this boat, Still looking for some Instructions, although not essential would be nice.
From what I could gather speaking to Jotika, only about 50 of these were made, to date I have never seen one on display <:(

You may find a suitable fire monitor/water cannon here, there is a 1/48th scale water cannon about half way down the page...
