Have the oppertunity to buy one of these second hand. Never sailed a sailboat in my life.
Is it a good 'starter' boat?
-
Obviously a question that is open to personal preferences, but I would say that it is a great boat to start with.
I think it's a Robbe kit though, just in case we are talking of a different yacht.
-
The Robbe Comtesse is a great looking boat. Robbe are a good mmanufr from what i can gather.
If the boat has already been built it would be a greqat starter boat.
-
He He, Yes its the robbe, and it is built.
Its been in storage for a year or two and is in need of a re-paint. Other than that it's fine, or so I'm told!
best of it is the seller only wants 50 notes for it.
To good to pass up on realy-
Is there any thing I should look out for?
-
Topic renamed :-)
Yes a great boat.
Very well thought out and a GOOD sailer if not a competition vessel.

HI ,
I take it the sails were crumpled when you got them, and your good lady is waiting to roll out the creases

Yes, missing it if you are too slow.
For 50 squid you cannot go wrong. Grab it.
