hi Alan it is not to hard a build good plans and book on step by step building, plans not to scale though it is first trawler i have built, only thing i found time consuming was the metal parts there is 100,s of them. mine not done yet ,had it in bath at weekend get right ballast, putting electrics in this week ,and final tidy up,and that be it,just wait to till ice in local pond melt and try her out. regards hugh.

Hello Hugh, thanks for the reply.

I see the kit is about £220 delivered  in the uk, how much does it cost for all the working parts roughly ? as im seriously thinking about splashing out on this model.

Also im looking forward to you updating us after you get her in the water.

Again shes looking great.

Alan

hi alan did not cost me anything for radio or elec, as i took out an other boat. all the r/c and radio ,would cost about £100.00,i have a 12volt lead acid  battery in mine cost £15.00.torpedo 600 geared motor,£20.00,speed controler £21.00 receiver £15.00 servo£10.00.u would also nead a 2channel  r/c ,mine is a hitec cost just over £30.00. these prices are just what i paid u may get them cheeper, hope that helps you a wee bit alan. regards hugh.  p/s if you nead some model shop e/mails go to mayhem home page and they have link to 20/30 web pages of model shops that will sell u all u nead.cheers
