Title: Downloading files via internet explorer7

Why wont internet explorer allow you to download more than 2 files at once?  By download i mean click on a file hit "save target as" etc...  Is there a setting i can change because i cant find it anywhere..

I have no problem downloading more than 2 files, the only problem is I sometimes run out of bandwidth and have to queue the downloads.

I have not found a setting which covers this

I gave up on Internet Explorer long ago, and now use Firefox.
