Title: SLA
Post by: packy46 on December 16, 2008, 02:13:25 am
Hello:

An SLA with a rating of 12 v/7ah , using 2x motors , at 3 amps each max , should run approx 1.1 hrs , at full speed, probably won't do
full speed for an hour- anyway , is thats right , Now I see on the battery picture on line , initial current / and cycle current,(2.7 / 3.6 max.) does this mean recharge rate?.

Need help
Thanks
Tim

i can't help you.. maybe check on my site.. other than that, im sure toesup and the crew will jump right on your case! :) http://rcgearing.com/boats.html (http://rcgearing.com/boats.html)

the vac-u-tug 545 motors should give you plenty of power and low amps (less than one amp) as they can run anywhere from 6-7 volts to like 24 volts i imagine..

why do you think your motors pull 3amps?

Packy
Not a local supplier for you, but you might find this link useful.

The chargers are of Chinese origin (I think), so you should be able to find some very much like these on US hobby stores/battery suppliers' websites.
