hi guys,

just a quick mention of lights and other stuff i have fitted.....

the lights around the edge of the deck were a strip of 20 bright White LED lights brought from homebase - 2 packs £2, only uses 2 AA batteries and have a duration of god knows what....had them on for 2 days and no deviation in brightness. The usual LED bulbs for port and starboard, front and rear search lights, mast srobe light, and cabin light.

Also, a rotating radar driven by a modified servo....and as you see from the pics working smoking funnels.

As for my accident i chopped throught the top of my right hand and cut through the middle tendon on my knuckle...and 3 operations later and 3 months off work I am able to get back to modelling.

Hope to get a night shot tomorow so can get good shot of the lights

Rob

Hi Rob,

Any chance of showing the "non-electrical" types among us how you wired all them lights up ?

That's a nice example of this particular kit by the way. :-))
