I presume you mean  Type XX1 Submarine, if so the book I have says it is almost half way to the stern from the conning tower...

If its the Amazon class frigate  have a look in I think July or June Model boats they did a photo spread on a Indian Navy ship we sold to them a few years back. From memory the RAS point is under the bridge behind the gun on the port side.

These ships refuelled over the foredeck and into the main deck forward buklkhead.
Single RAS winch on port side just aft of turret angled ad 45degrees fron fore/aft.
Modern Combat Ships Type 21 show this class refueling from RFA.

Think the Type 21 frigates must be the best looking frigates anywhere in the world.

As the Chief Bosun's Mate on board HMS Arrow for her first commission, I can confirm that the RAS point is a tripod arrangement just below the bridge, above the forrard bulkhead.

I agree totally with the last comment, they are lovely looking ships, but very hard to keep everything going with reduced manning standards in force. Imagine trying to refuel or replenish whilst the ship is at Defence Stations, there's no bodies left!
