Title: Ferries to Norway
Post by: 6705russell on January 05, 2009, 02:17:26 pm
Hi all,

Starting a job out in Norway just south of Stavanger in a couple of weeks and just found out they have stopped running the only ferry service from Newcastle  >:-o

Any one know or has used a different ferry route to get there, whether it be to Denmark and jump on another ferry to Norway?

Any help much appreciated

Cheers

Russ

ferries to Norway from Danmark you can find at Hanstholm, Hirtshals and maybe Esbjerg ( this , realy I don't know ) and many from DK to Sweden. From Germany, Kiel to Oslo.
Ferry-companies  direkt to Norway:  Fred Olsen and Colour-Line.

From the hook to Esbjerb, drive up to Hirtshals and take the ferry to oslo. Nice sail through skærgåren. keep the camera handy.

Why not fly out from Aberdeen  arrive in less than an hour or failing that a pricier route or used to be anyway was a ferry to Norway from Lerwick dont know if it still runs
