i was looking around a couple of days ago for something i could spend my Xmas money on when i came across A titan 4" belt & 6" disc sander, on the screwfix website %) . i couldn't resist it. just over £50 i think it is excellent value for money It is small enough to fit on the workbench, it is very solid and does not move when its in use and there is very little noise. i would recommend it to anyone

Bargain.

The table saw at under £49 looks a good buy as well judging by the reviews.

dantheman,
I have a very similar sander which I bought many years ago. It was branded by "Machinemart" under their "Clarkes" label and I guess they are all far eastern generics.
It is a very useful machine for general use as well as modelling. It is one purchase my wife approves of as I sharpen all her kitchen knives (she has about 20!) on it.
However, I do find the horizontal belt runs off and I have to wedge it into position as the adjustment and stops are inadequate.
