Title: Painting Copper Wire
Post by: BreezyB on February 10, 2009, 05:16:04 pm
Hello Mayhemmers,
I have successfully used some thick Copper wire (ex mains earth) to form gun tub depression rails. I will soon be ready to airbrush the whole assembly but I'm not sure if I need to prepare the Copper wire in some way first  {:-{. The teams advice would be most welcome.

Thanks
Barrie.

Just clean and prime, like any other metal item.

Many thanks for your advice Malcolm. I know that painting domestic copper pipe works OK but I thought that I'd better check that wire would be as easy. Thanks again.  :-))

Regards
Barrie.
