Hi all,

I have just received and sat and thoroughly enjoyed the Audio tape 'Forgotten Voices of the 2nd World War' - I would strongly recommend this - its the true stories of war at both the sea and air.

Uses several survivors of the actual battles to tell parts of the story.

To give you an idea what is on here - Battle of River Plate, St Nazaire Raid, Sink the Bismark, The Raid on the Turpitz with the x-craft.   To name but a few.

lasts for 3 hours - good hobby listening - although I must admit I stopped hobbying to listen to the story.

I purchased the tape from     audio bookbargains.co.uk

Very good.

I take it John that is by the same publishers who put together the "Forgotten Voices" series of books?  I have read a couple of those now and they are really compelling reading.  Also being in small sections of text are very easy to pick up and read as much or as little as you want at any one time.  Highly recommended.
