Title: Tornado ESC

i cant for the life of me figure out this ESC its a tornado bl 60 a hv so far i have got it going forwards and and brake but no reverse thier must be someting i am doing wrong but not sure what any tips on setting this up

The only brushless 60 amp ESC that Tornado do is for helicopters and planes, would it have a reverse ?  {:-{

yes it does but cant figure out how to enable it

Tim, the only one I can find is an OPTO coupled device which seems to be, as Dicky says, for planes

Have you got a pic, or where you got it from?.  I'm guessing you don't have a manual, or you would not be asking

The only 60amp controller on the Overlander web site is for planes and helicopters as I said.

Hi Tim,

Here is something that you could try. Some bi-directional brushless speed controllers need you to use the double click method to put them in reverse. This is done by coming from forward through neutral into the reverse position, (that breaks the motor as in stop) then go back to neutral then back into reverse and the motor should go into reverse.
Let me know how you get on.

If not, if you can scan the data sheet which came with the esc I will try and work it out for you.
