Do some members know Airfix will has 1:200 HMS invincible?

Sorry, no. The Airfix kit will be 1/350 scale.

Invincible the current aircraft carrier?? I thought Airfix were planning to release a 1/350 Hms Illustrious?

At the Fairford Airshow on Sunday(19th) I spoke to an airfix representative about the new 1/350th scale HMS Illustroius kit.

They had test shots of the sprues. Looks better than the older Dragon/Italeri Ticonderoga and Spruance kits.

It can be built as full hull or waterline. Aircraft included are Sea Harrier FR2, Harrier GR7/9, Sea King and Merlin

Release date is October.
