I bought my first completed ready to sail model today.
A Gemini 600 Catamaran.
Length 600mm, Beam 285mm, Height 1100mm, Sail area 1700mm sq
also powered with 380 type motor with 3ch FM radio
It's a little shop soiled as it was the display model, getting it for 50% off clinched the sale i paid $99aud, thats 47quid.
Already planning the carry box for mounting on my scooter.

First job is to make a travel box for carrying it on my scooter, will do pics a few cosmetic repairs are needed the sail tape edge strengthening is peeling off i presume it's caused by ultra violet light, as model was displayed in the shop window, also not happy with self adhesive step treads on the rear of the hulls 2 of them cover the rudder linkages, they've curled over time and dust has ruined the adhesive i'll use some 600 wet & dry paper as anti slip treads and white silicone for the hatch covers . The styrene hatch cover is slightly heat warped so i'll do a little GRP moulding on a new one.
What is used to glue the sail tape to the sails ?

I've replaced all the poyester thread & bowsie standing rigging with 10kg rated nylon coated wire fishing trace and brass turnbuckles i've had in the bits box for 30+ years.
Here she is ready to sail, I'll finish the paint touch up later as i'm itching to sail her.
Here's a pic.
