Post by: 6705russell on April 08, 2009, 11:41:45 am
Hi all,

Has anyone who as built the Drumbeat got any good ideas on how to cut the window frames, the moulded plastic is quite tricky to cut out?  pity they werent metal frames  :((

Thanks

Make a little jig Russ so that the corner of the window frame sits into it.
Clamp the jig under the centre line on your bench drill so that the drill will make a hole on the inside of the frame at the correct spot to form the inner rounded corner, and drill away.
then you can just get a craft knife and cut between holes for the perfect aperture.
neil.
