Title: 1/8th scale trawler

hi

i'm new on this forum
I'm currently building billings smit rotterdam and have my next project in mind
its a 1/8th scale Shirley ann trawler
i was wondering if anyone has the original magazine it came with?
i have the plans
also does anyone no where i can get 1/8th scale fittings etc?

If you know what magazine it was featured in could you order a back issue ?
As for the scale i think scale parts of that size would be hard to obtain , could be wrong tho ,, the last fishing boat i had to that scale i built the hull according to the plans and everything else to 1/12 scale and she turned out pretty well , parts on this scale are easier to find , andy

This is my 1st post
Not sure if you will look back at this thread but i have also just started making this trawler.
Just been made redundant so tiyding the loft and found some old copies of model boats with the plans and build instructions on building the Shirley Ann
So decided to  have a go
could copy pages for you if that would help or if you have built yours you could post a photo

never built this boat but still on my want to build list :}
