Title: what battery?
Post by: tomo55 on April 22, 2009, 02:32:47 pm
Hi ,Anyone know of the best battery SLA/Nimh to fit in a deans ASRL with a kestral motor?
Looking for a reasonable turn of speed but would prefer longer duration.
Heard that some Nimh stick packs only last 20 minutes.
Any relevant thoughts welcomed.
Thanks Chris

I use 9.6V 4300 mAh  Nimh in my 1:40 scale PT boat and Gunboat.

Get about 45 mins run time I think, not to sure as I have never run them continuously for very long periods, normally chatting.

Both motors are water cooled.
