Any model flying clubs nearby? Similar to a delta with long nose. BTW Canada Geese is correct unless it is another species of Canadian geese if you get my drift :embarrassed:

As soon as I saw that it was over the "Lancaster Canal" - I had my suspicions...
So using the latest favourite photo enhancement software (as used by MI5 and the police in the indentifying of suspects),
I can now reveal the truth - it's one of the local girls on a trip out to Morecambe :o :o

Nahh! It's a Klingon "Bird of prey" MK10 in landing mode, you guys better leg it!
Paul... :-)
-
Nah, it's this.. some spotter photographed it and sent it to me..
-
If it was an aircraft, I think the 'U.F.O. in the original pic might be a tailess canard design by an american designer called Bert Routan (Spelling pleece) :police:.
He produced a lot of designs of aircraft using this wing layout. They were usually carbon fibre, single seat, lightweight types with a pusher engine in the rear. They are the sort of thing you could build in your garage and there are some flying in this country. I have seen them many times in the past, they are usually quite quick as the design is very slippery.
