Title: model slipway puffer 1/72

here she is the "vital spark" i bought this via the sales forum back in feb, took about 80 hours to build. has action speed control (68a) and action micro puffer sound unit (thanks dave) really adds to atmosphere, great gear.
has all crew (railway figures). on off via micro switch under engine room hatch, powered by 2 cell lipo.

Hi Hollowhornbear,

I love the puffer, the weathering is just right and evreything,

Only one problem- I wonder if Mrs McHaydenoo knows her lads wee jimmy and sam are running amock on Mr McPuffer's lovely ship- think the guys are wrong scale mate... :}

my feelings to, but not the crew wrong scale, think it maybe slipways stanchions, still investigating.

Hello there
I have the same model which I am in the process of building or trying to!! as I am a relative beginner and would appreciate any advice you can give me would be appreciated, I am particularly impressed by your painting and weathering, it brings the Puffer to life, again any advice on how you achieved this and what type of paint you used ie acrylics, enamels or whatever and I feel your figures bring the model to life whether they are the correct scale as has been mentioned in one or two replies I know not, and if not what is the correct scale for the crew I would ask any other members, being a novice I would again appreciate any other member.
