Title: Revell Harbor Tug 1/108
Post by: tragik on May 27, 2009, 12:28:28 am
Hello, I hope this is in the correct spot. I am a new model builder and this is my first completed model. Now, this is not an RC model but just a static model.

Some highlights of the things I did to this thing..

-Learned how to knit so that I could make my own boat bumpers.
-scratch build the bits and main deck
-scratch build the sterns grating
-added clear windows to all windows
-painted the boat name on life rings
-life boat was not to scale with the davits so, removed the davits and put the life boat on the base.
-base is in a dry dock fashion
-used EZ line for the rigging of the mast.

Please enjoy the pics and comments are welcome. If bored and want some toilet time reading here is my blog which shows each step (the good, the bad and the ugly). http://mylittleworkbench.blogspot.com/ (http://"http://mylittleworkbench.blogspot.com/")

Excellent job Tragik, best rendition of the kit I've seen.
