okay im at the stage of painting my Schutze and i have been talking to a few people who build boats and i have been informed or maybe misinformed theres a few different "schutze" minesweepers.
ive had a browse over the net and cant seem to come up with many photos of the different types ie, colours and fitting etc, Shipmate60 'bob' has given me the colour numbers he has painted his but i want to be different lol ::)
if anyone has pics or knows of the different types post them up for me pretty please ;D

Jay, I`ve been through some sources on the net, unfortunately with not much success.
But I have found this- hope it is out of any help.
Happy modeling, Jörg

cheers for the help.
i wouldnt mind painting my Schutze to coinside with your fleet bob, as a couple of them on a lake would look brilliant cruising at scale speed.
im in the process of building a spray booth out of cardboard so i can primer the hull in the garden without the wind affecting the paint, good job i have a patio heater aswell ;D

:)Hi there Ref painting the Robbe Schutze minesweeper. Robbe recommend transport grey. This colour is very dark grey and photos from the internet seem to give the colour to be a blue grey colour. Humbrol R A F Barley grey is not to far away but White Ensign's navy grey is also not bad when checking against pictures from the internet. If you would like to try the following web site there are lots of pictures on there. Go to google.de and type in minensucher schuetze klasse this may help. You will notice that some of the equipment is not painted bright red but a red brown colour, same with yellow parts not vivid yellow but more of a mustard colour. Gruapner now produce a 40mm bofor which fits on this model a treat.
