Post by: tigertiger on October 28, 2006, 10:55:07 am
I am looking for a supplier of the following,
Who will accept credit card and post overseas, and accept online orders.

Dacron fabric
Luff tape
Eyelets and the eyelet tool/pliers.

I was told to try Housemartin but unfortunatley they want cheques. :(
And Great Basin only appear to do mylar

Can any body help with some names please.

Thanks for this Druid

The order has been placed.

This was scarily easy, I always have a pig of a job to order from China.

I spoke to a guy called Graham at Sailsetc, really good.

Thanks again druid

I get most of my stuff from PJ Sails in Poole, he doesn't have a web site but will send a good catalogue. PJ Sails 01202 744101, business hours only. He has all the stuff of Sails etc and some of his own fittings as well, and also does the popular radio racing yachts.

Both P.J.Sails and Sailsetc are first-class suppliers of model racing yacht fittings, rigs, yacht kits and complete boats.  Another similar supplier is Nylet, based in Bournemouth, UK, Tel: 01202 420370 (outside UK +44 1202 420370). Web: www.nylet.co.uk
The Graham mentioned at Sailsetc, is Graham Bantock, one of the world's top model racing yacht designers and suppliers. He holds, and has held many UK and International racing yacht championships.
May the wind be with you!  Mike

Mike

I couldn't agree with you more - all those three are excellent suppliers - I have used all three plus Housemartin. However Tiger wanted to order with a credit card and only Sailsetc accept credit card orders , thats why I suggested them.

I was very surprised when first ordering from PJSails to find that they trust you enough to send your goods plus an invoice without demanding payment up front. They get all my orders now for being so accommodating (and for very rapid service).
