My wife bought me this kit about 7 years ago and its sat on the shelf still in its Cellophane wrapper. Just lately I am see some very nice scale sail boats and got to wondering............
Yes I know the ad. for the boat kit has a cross thru the radio control bit BUT......
Can it be built to sail by radio and make a good sail model on the water????
Length 700mm, Beam 120mm, and Height 570mm. Plank on frame hull

Mate go for it, as they say a brick can be made to float with enough effort, so a boat should be easier,,,,,

Hi by chance I have an FD10 yawl part made kit. It was donated to us for sale in our club, but no takers.
I looked at it long and hard because I like small sailing boats but decided that this was just too small to convert to RC.
But who am I, if you reckon you can do it, give it your best shot.
