A while ago someone posted a link to a site which had a map which had real time shipping info, you could scroll around it and click on individual ships and up would pop some data and a picture of the ship. I found it fascinating, but like a pillock I didn't bookmark it. Any ideas?

marinetraffic.com should be what you want :-))

Page not found {:-{

just tried it and checked the address, its working
-
Try www.shipais.com Pete M
-
Wish I'd been able to fit something like that to the 2 of my models that were stolen. Still rankles. BY.

Shipais isn't the one that I'm after, thanks anyway. This one was a lot more graphic intensive.
Bryan post some pics, if anyone sees one of them at their club they'll stick out.

Andy....too long ago now. I made a new version of the trawler (Bayflower), but have never had the heart to re-do "Hunan". The best model I ever built. Sob and more sob. But "somewhere" she lives....even if it's at the bottom of the N.Sea as I suspect. BY.

Some ships have pictures, some dont, but if you have a pic of said ship you can upload it yourself. Its a very good site if sometimes a bit slow

It started as a joke years ago and then when i became a Captain it stuck :-))

Google shipais. A virtual ship finder that refreshes every 2 minutes. great for the coast of Britain and most of Europe
