I have (inherited) an ageing Argus, 36" or thereabouts, wishbone schooner my Dad made, I suspect before I was born...yes, that long ago! The sails have definitely seen better days and are starting to 'go' in places. Does anyone know if I can buy a set of sails for her or of anyone who'd be willing to make a set of sails? I have plans which mention 'parachute silk', which I suspect I might struggle to find these days!
She's a beautiful looking boat and needs a bit of a spruce up here and there (winter project) and a new suit would be nice too.

Ripstop nylon from a kite shop?

Or you can get spinnaker sail material from a sail maker, I just obtained some for my Schooner, and I got one which has the ribbed look like the original type of sails had....
