Hi
I need some help trying to figure out the name of this tug that was showed in a Rcm magazine some years ago if Í´m not wrong, is very similar to the Arpec V but with some alterations on the uper deck. I cannot figure out if is a real tug or a self creation.
Any help would be great.

I looks to be very similar to the Billings 'Banckert', but I'm sure others on here can be more specific.
Cheers,
Geoff

I know this is a old thread but I have just stumbled on it. I didn't realize the RTR New Castle tug was modelled on a real tug I thought it was ficticious. After searching I can't seem to find any pictures of the real ARPEC V, anyone know of any. From searching she may have been remaned NIM? Is she still in service, any one have any information?
Thank you

Hello
The Goëland II is not the Arpec V. She is only one of the tug from that now disapeared compagny ARPEC
The Arpec V was sold to Mauritania and is no more existing.
About pictures of the real Arpec V, they are rares, there is some on the French boat model magazine MRB 271 http://cgi.ebay.fr/MRB-n-271-REMORQUEUR-ARPEC-V-/250830207792
