Title: Motor for a TID tug - 1:24 scale
Post by: guitar man on August 18, 2009, 06:32:38 pm
hello all can anybody recomend a suitable motor for a tid tug the scale is 1:24 giving an approx length of 34 inch & 8.5 inch beam. I see some people have used car fan motors etc, not sure I want to go down that route (maybe ?)
have seen a couple of the links on here for tid tug builds which are proving most helpful so thanks to those who recommended them and thanks in advance for any help on the motor question :-)

Hi forgot to say that I only want the motor to drive the boat there will be no towing or contest involved so not really looking for the power I think the prop on the plan is about 60 t0 65 mm in diameter. thanks again   :-)
