Post by: Scottie on November 13, 2006, 01:05:44 pm
Hi All,

I am the Chairman/Secretary of our club.

We sail on the Mutual Mills lodge, Aspinall Street, Heywood every Sunday morning come rain, hail, snow, ice and even when it's sunny!
We're a very friendly group of enthusists with large variety of models but not very many sail as the lodge is well sheltered.

We have tea, toast and toilet facilities a short walk from the lake.

You are very welcome to visit - bring a boat and have a sail.

More information can be found at www.mutualmodelboatsociety.org.uk or by contacting
chairman@mutualmodelboatsociety.org.uk

See you by the lake,

Scottie

Hi,have been to your boatsales a couple of times, found everyone a friendly lot and plenty on offer for sale. I have bought a couple of boats, stripped them back and built them to my taste. One was a victorian launch, which I took to Blackpool,a couple yrs ago, it got a mention in Boating mag, the other was a tug, twin screw,It has got a few compliments, it has also rescued another tug in distress. Keep up the good work, will be at your club in Feb for your boat sale again. Who knows, maybe, just maybe will be something that catches my eye.
HOPE YOU GET A GOOD ATTENDANCE, YOUR POND IS GREAT.
Happy sailing,
Bettina:)
