Title: RNLI POOLE 2009 OPEN DAY
Post by: MCAT on September 08, 2009, 10:05:18 am
RNLI  OPEN DAY  EVERY TWO YEARS.

I had never been before , but will certainly go again. not expensive to get in and plenty to see and do, eat and drink if you wish
my complements to the guys on the Hog roast stand. met some friends on the lifeboat enthusiast stands missed the demo they
did in the harbour. all in all the R.N.L.I did a very good job suppling the amenties throughout the site, which meant you didnot have
to queue for you no were after visiting the beer tent.

you cannot leave without having gained some knowledge on sea safety and a Great respect for the R.N.L.

some pictures of the day

Hi Nice photos O0

I'm lucky enough to work on the construction of the tamar class boats and having seen the pictures of the conditions they use the boats in you've got to give the crews the upmost respect. The new carriage way boat looks as if it would make a cracking model with a couple of kerher? jet drives in it - just have to find me a suitable hull.........

cheers
