Thanks Andy, it doesn't look bad at all...better than my X craft moulds {:-{

What are the window frames made of ? and is the price righr £40. also does the shaft in the picture have bearings.? I think there was one of them on hear some time ago with a brushless motor, it went well by the look of things.
Peter

Yes the shaft has bearings (i think) its hideing in the workshop at the moment :embarrassed: the window frames seem to be made of plastic , they look pretty good tho , and yes the price is right ! :-X :-))
-
OK thanks for that , it was just that the picture of the shaft shows very little difference in dia of the two (inner outer)

Looks like you're progressing quickly Andy. Here's a photo of my Cygnus completed this year.
I've since added a welder doing a repair. This will be for static display shows.

Very nice looking boat you have there , is it based on one you know ? im still working on my A frame at the moment it will take a while to get all the mounting plates for lights etc put on then i will make a start on the wheelhouse interior then the frameing for the whaleback lots to do :} but should look pretty good when done i hope :-))
-
is it based on one you know ?
Hi andy, no, I live in the midlands so miles away from any fishing ports. I did a search on internet and came up with a few pictures and took some ideas from there. There are so many different variants on the cygnus design that the world is your oyster...............
or lobster............ or shrimp ok2
