Hi guys, i,ve just bought an unbuilt Italeri s-boot,i,m going to rc it, but intend only to use 2 x motors, what size will give me optimum performance,i was thinking of 2 Graupner 500,would these be big enough, or are they too big?

Hi Our Wullie,
I would say 500's are too big, Speed 500's or smaller.

( I was introduce to 'Oor Wullie' and his bucket when I was a kid by Lilly Shertenib of Chalk Farm (near the Round House) and I read it on-and-off ever since. I've still got a couple of annuals somewhere. My kids understood the humour too! )

Good memories,I,ll have to dig oot ma bucket, and if i can find,it, i,ve got a pic wi me sitting on it, and i,ve even got ma dungaree,s on,and if you,ve read oor Wullie, you,ll have like as read the "Broons,"
as for Chalk Farm and the Roundhouse, now that brings back really fond memories, I went there to see a Band called "Family"which had Roger Chapman in it,circa 1969/70,I lived in Muswell Hill at that time,30 Tetherdown to be exact, then moved to Crouch End,

If you are using small props you will need something like a 400 or Deans Black 5 to power her and keep the weight down.

I,ll be using 30mm props,i,m not too bothered about scale, i just want it to sit up a bit more in the bow,
