Title: Subcommittee web site
Post by: polycell on September 21, 2009, 05:01:17 pm
Does anybody patronise this web site?
I joined over the weekend submitted my €58 by PayPal but have had no response from anyone about access to the forums or anything else associated with the site.  I have received a PayPal receipt from Subcommittee but thats all.  Or is that all I need to get on to the site not overly clear on their site how it all works.
I'm a little miffed!!!

I'm the UK representative for the Sub Committee. I assure you you will get a response in due course. It's best to address your concerns at the Sub Committee website, as that is where it will be most visible.

Thanks

Andy

Yes. The two guys who run the board do a good job, but it is a part time job and the wages are awful (nil) therefore sometimes real life gets in the way.

Welcome to the Sub Committee.

Welcome to the Sub Committee.
My praise was in haste I still cannot access the site albeit I have had five thats 5 emails telling me I am a member.  They may be 'part timers' but they are dealing and taking the publics money for access.
And why do I need a link to the Subcommittee web site Martin?  I think I know it now-thanks!
Disgusted and a little pee'd off South France!!

The majority of your membership fee goes towards the Sub Committee Report, the next issue you will receive shortly. Access to the website can take a few days to sort out, as the administrators have explained. Please show a bit of patience before posting negative remarks, it will not hasten things, it will only dishearten those who make an effort.

Incidentley, as a new member, if you would like to volunteer as a second board administrator, I'm sure your access will get the very highest priority.

Will also help newcomers access the board quicker too.

How about it?

Sorry I'm not out to malign the site or the people that run it I'm just a wee bit miffed that PayPal snatches yer money and "xxxxx" all happens for now three days.  I'll become a second board administrator if one is required.
