If it is going up to Ellesmere Port as they say it will be a rough ride - 70mph gales are being forecast for the Irish Sea on Friday/Saturday !!

That barge looks more like a mobile runway for small aircraft  :o

          ...Hi Guys...

A wee word on the tug thats towing the barge..."MCS MARLENE"belonging to Maritime Craft Services of Largs on the Clyde...

This handy little but powerful  tug is a Damen Shoalbuster...

"MCS MARLENE" is the subject of Tyne Models new kit which is due to be released next March...

         ...Regards...Norry...

They can't leave until they have a 3 day forcast of Force 6 or less (Insurance puposes). Mind you I wouldn't like to tow that in more than a 6 up the Irish Sea anyway.
